RTR means that the boat does not need any technical knowledge to configure and run. Theoretically, it should be operated on the right side of the box. In fact, as a rule, we need to adjust some things, such as servos and fat trees.

Many electric boats are really willing to go outside the box and beyond. Most of the nitro and gas cans must be a break in the time and the first conversation.

Usually = Ready to Run when a manufacturer says it is ready to run.

Be careful here Tho 'should read the descriptions carefully to see if RTR means that you have everything that the price of a box (and), saving water and go!

An electric motor "RTR" boat very often need one or two batteries of 7.2 V, the transmitter should be 8 to 12 AA batteries (plus a charger is a good idea to make it work!)

A boat Nitro often need a complete package ... Key cylinder, gas cap, etc.

A gas cylinder is to gasoline, 2-stroke engine oil, and 8-12 AA
Gas cylinders.

So step carefully grasshoppah!

Hey there ... RTR means "ready to work." In other words, you do not assemble or build the ship. Just out of the box, insert the batteries when the electricity and fuel, if nitro, and you 're ready to go!

Not very "mechanical" I think the best RTR boats for me.

I hope that answers your question!
Cheers,
Lynn
